You know I’m a sucker for tropical parties…and Luau’s have a special place in my heart for numerous reasons. Fun Fact: My husband and I had our FIRST DANCE at a Hawaiian luau.
And before you go all mushy and think that’s when we fell in love…we already had two children by that time.

Anywho…this Hawaiian Luau Party is slightly more tame than the first one, but boy is it cute.
Plus, it’s budget friendly and super easy to put together.

- Luau Party Backdrop – this is my favorite party detail and it’s so incredibly easy to put together!
- Hula Table Skirt – I cut these AFFILIATE Mini Hula Skirts into quarters, hot glued them together, then used command strips to attach it to the table edge.
- AFFILIATE Tiki Cups – Love decorations that serve two purposes. These add a pop of color, and with these gold straws with AFFILIATE lei flowers glued to them, they’re also pretty gorgeous.
- AFFILIATE Gold Vases – These gold vases are so chic and can be used for so many party ideas…but add some AFFILIATE palm leaves and you’ve got some easy Hawaiian Luau Party decor!
- AFFILIATe Table Tiki Torches – I didn’t light them indoors or anything, but they still look really cute!

- Cookie Decorating Station – this doubles as an activity AND food, so WIN/WIN.
- Clam Shell Cupcakes – simply buy premade cupcakes (I was lucky enough to find blue ones), cut some madeleines in half and place them in the frosting. Cover with some sprinkles and you have the cutest damn cupcakes you’ve ever seen.
- Sand Bowl Display – Crunch up some graham crackers, add some starfish candy melts and the cupcakes to a a bowl for a tropical and unique cupcake display.
- Fruit and Dip – this is my go to for easy party food. Plus, it’s nice to have something healthy at a dessert table.

- Punch – okay, this is staged and totally watered down V8, but my friend Liz has some amazing Party Punch Recipes that will go perfect in these cute Tiki Cups!
