HI THERE, AND WELCOME!
I’m Erin, the owner, designer, and creator of this little design haven called Printable Crush
WHATEVER THE REASON YOU’RE HERE…
I’m glad that you stopped by, and you saw enough that you wanted to read a little bit more about Printable Crush…in all it’s pink and mint glory.
It’s a little ironic that my journey into the design world started with a major lack of confidence on my part. When I started college, I didn’t think I could make the art program, so I didn’t go to school for design.
Flash forward roughly 6 years, and I was married, had just been laid off and was pregnant with my first child.
Guys, I was SO bored during that time I was laid off. It was during the 2008 recession and I COULD NOT find a job.
I worked all day, every day on Adobe Illustrator and eventually started doing design work for clients, went through a series of name changes (who remembers Strawberry Mommycakes??) and I eventually turned my design business into what it is today.
You can also find my work featured on major sites and magazines like Buzzfeed, Stationery Trends, Woman’s Day, & Babble. And don’t forget to look up my Illustrator Course on Brit & Co!
WHEN I’M NOT WORKING…I’M USUALLY WORKING. BECAUSE I REALLY LOVE WHAT I DO.

I have a super supportive husband (I’m the one that forgets anniversaries…if that tells you what all this man deals with). We have 3 kids – and I feel like that’s a lot of humans to take care of, but they’re my favorite humans so it’s okay.
Blogging is a family affair many times and you’ll probably see my kids modeling for me. They’re all really good sports!
- Halloween is my favorite. It’s not uncommon to see our skeleton Ethel hanging out at our kitchen table in September.
- I grew up in a small town in New Mexico where we had to create our own fun. I attribute my dry wit and creative aspirations to my quaint upbringing.
- My husband had his own construction and painting company for a while and he has spent many a Saturdays finishing large and small DIY Projects around our home.
- I took a strengths test and my biggest strength was caution and my lowest strength was courage. TOTALLY ACCURATE. I’m afraid of everything, but my FOMO (fear of missing out) reigns over all the other fears, so I’ve actually done a lot of crazy/scary things.
