Dark Chocolate Layer
- 2 12 oz bags of dark chocolate chips
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3 c. sugar
Hot Tamale Layer
- 1 12 oz. bag white chocolate chips
- 1/2 can evaporated milk
- 1/2 c butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 5 oz. boxes of hot tamales chopped
Dark Chocolate Fudge
Add dark chocolate chips to a large bowl.
Add milk, sugar and butter in a pan and heat at medium heat until butter is melted and ingredients are combined.
Turn heat to medium high until mixture is bubbling, then turn down to medium low.
Stir continually and keep on heat for 7 minutes.
Pour mixture over dark chocolate chips and stir until all the chocolate is melted.
Add fudge to a greased pan, then let set for about 1/2 an hour.
Hot Tamale Layer
Add white chocolate chips to a medium bowl.
Add milk, sugar and butter in a pan and heat at medium heat until butter is melted and ingredients are combined.
Turn heat to medium high until mixture is bubbling, then turn down to medium low.
Stir continually and keep on heat for 7 minutes.
Pour mixture over dark chocolate chips and stir until all the chocolate is melted.
Add in hot tamales, then quickly pour fudge on top of the dark chocolate fudge.
Let fudge set for several hours before serving.
