Last week we saw the new National Geographic Earth Explorers Exhibit at the Phoenix Science Center. My kids love the Science Center! It has tons of activities and it’s perfect for growing minds!
My kids’ favorite activity is, of course the part they throw balls into water. Look how happy they are! It always takes some coaxing to get them away from this area and it usually ends in tears, but they (and when I say they, I mean Max…because he’s 3) were really excited for the next part!
The Earth Explorers Exhibit is a travelling exhibit that will be at the Phoenix Science Center until January 4th! I definitely recommend taking your kids. Everything is geared toward kids and even though my kids are young, they still got a lot out of it. They touched everything, looked at all the animals (the shark was the best!) and just played. I think it’s important to expose kids to certain things even if they don’t really understand yet! My daughter was a little confused by the Volcano display, but she participated in touching the rocks and the “lava” from this science experiment:

We also got to take a little walk around the area and it’s beautiful and the weather was amazing! I love having family outing days and this one was just perfect. It ended with the kids taking a LONG nap 🙂
If you’re in the Phoenix area, definitely plan a day to take your kids here, they’ll LOVE it!
