I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for #CollectiveBias and its advertiser. I have pretty much tried everything to get my kids to eat healthy…bribing included (i.e. I’ll give you a cookie if you try your carrots!) I’m also willing to sneak good things into treats they love. For example, this SILK Coconut Almond Chocolate Shake looks delicious, right? Did you know it has the added benefits of Almond Milk? My kids went CRAZY for this shake and it’s a great way to get these picky eaters their protein! It takes minutes to make and only has 3 ingredients!
Before you head out for ingredients, make sure you have an ice cube tray. I freeze the Almond milk in the trays to make my shake thick and extra cool. It takes a little extra prep time and thinking ahead, but that way I didn’t have to water down my shake with ice cubes. I used SILK’s Almond Coconut Blend, but if you’re not keen on coconut, try their Protien and Fiber almond milk!
I like to add a little disclaimer before all my smoothie recipes…everyone is different and you can add more or less of each ingredient depending on your taste. I found this to be my favorite combo, but you could also try it without the syrup, add a little coconut syrup to make it more tropical, add more ice cubes to make it thicker, etc. I thought this tasted JUST like a malt shoppe ice cream shake with the added coconut and almond flavor. It’s TO DIE FOR!!

Oh My!! The picture alone says it all. This sounds so yummy!! (But I have to admit I have a weakness for coconut and chocolate.)
