If you need a dessert FAST, make these AMAZING Salted Caramel Toffee Brownies. Your friends will think you slaved the day away in the kitchen!
So, I dropped off the face of the blogging Earth the past few weeks. I had my Mother-in-Law in town, launched my Printable Design Course for Beginners, went to SNAP, my mom came and then I got sick. Like REALLY sick. Not getting out of bed for days sick. Might be nature’s way of telling me to take it easy, so I’m listening. I was taking an easy day for my son’s preschool graduation, when my friend asked me what I was bringing to the party. At that point…nothing…and it was an HOUR before his graduation.
Luckily, these salted caramel toffee brownies are super quick and they’re made FROM SCRATCH! They were done in 35 minutes…that’s including baking time, people. My mom always made these because everyone requested them all the time and they’re so easy. I didn’t have enough chocolate chips, so I improvised and added one simple ingredient to give it the caramel taste.
I’m OBSESSED with the Wilton Treatology Flavor System. I used the Peach flavor to make the most amazing buttercream frosting, and I use the salted caramel flavor ALL THE TIME. You just need a few drops to really upscale your brownies.

Since I didn’t have to spend too much time making brownies, I had time to make this sign for my son and take forever trying to get him to look at the camera AND smile at the same time. I love the bottom right picture…”Is THIS what you want me to do????”
How is this kid old enough for Kindergarten already? This boy is such a crazy kid. He has a mind of his own and isn’t afraid to let anyone know about it. His preschool teacher said that no matter what they were playing, he absolutely WOULD NOT play the bad guy because he’s not a bad guy. He also said he wanted to be a DAD when he grew up which made me tear up a little. Love this little monster so much!
