I love this “Something Wicked This Way Comes” Halloween Brush Lettering Practice Sheet from Random Olive! Practice right on the sheet or trace it for beautiful Halloween Wall Art!
When I first started lettering, Olivia from Random Olive was one of the people I followed. She has a really fun style and I’ve already had her do a Creative lettering sheet and Valentine’s Day lettering sheet. It made perfect sense to have her design a Halloween Brush Lettering Practice Sheet since it’s my favorite holiday! If you like this, you HAVE to check out the full Brush Letter Practice Guide. It has practice strokes, upper and lower case letters, swashes, and more!
I also want to invite you to join me for my monthly lettering prompts. You’ll get notified the second the prompts go out (and that’s the only email you’ll get for the month…it’s just for fun!) Find September’s here.
My FAVORITE Dual Brush Pen Halloween Colors:
- Anything in the Galaxy Brush Set
- #685 Deep Magenta – hover over the colors and click on them to find the one you’d like to order
- #636 Imperial Purple – this is the one I use in this post
- #665 Purple
- #933 Orange
- #993 Chrome Orange
- #133 Chartreuse
- #195 Light Green
- #245 Snap Green (looks more emerald than image)
- #098 Avocado
- #055 Process Yellow
- Or, you know…you could get 96 of their colors and be set 😉
I printed off one copy of the practice sheet, then traced over it by using my Cricut Bright Pad (watch for another tutorial tomorrow). I love that I can practice my lettering skills while creating beautiful artwork, too! It does help that it’s in Olivia’s lovely writing! You can do this with any of her practice guides, but I’m eyeing the Candy Practice Guide…don’t you think this will be amazing for Halloween??
