These funny Tators Gonna Tate Calligraphy Practice Sheets will help you master calligraphy! Practicing daily is THE BEST way to get better.
If you’re new here…welcome! If you’re not…you may know I use humor as a coping mechanism and it’s worked out really well for me so far. I was going to create practice sheets that said, “Haters Gonna Hate,” but then I saw this quote and chose it instead. Because we could all take ourselves a little less seriously, right? I love the way these Tators Gonna Tate Calligraphy Practice Sheets turned out – they include 4 different calligraphy styles and of course, you can download them FREE at the bottom of this post.
These are a little intro to my Casual Calligraphy Course. Practicing daily is great, but if you need a little more instruction, this course is definitely for you!

These work best with the Tombow Fudenosuke and/or a Calligraphy Pen, and those are the two most essential supplies in my course. These are also super fun with the color Fudenosukes! Oh, and I wanted to let you know that you can get 15% off Tombow supplies with my code printablecrush15 – just for being a Printable Crush reader 🙂
Note the code can’t be combined with other coupons and if you’re in the US or Canada, you also get FREE SHIPPING on orders over $35!
These worksheets are really similar to the ones in my course. I have a spot for you to track your progress- and even though my course has over 100 worksheets with fabulous designs- that progress tracker is my FAVORITE thing. I love going back and seeing where I started.
This course is meant for you to write in your personal style – of course, you’ll have my lettering as practice, but we want to go beyond that, so my Calligraphy course is focused on creating in a way that is best FOR YOU.
For sure, I was a fauxligraphy girl all the way. I resisted trying a brush pen for so long, but once I started I realized the folly of my ways.
Brush lettering is SO much more efficient and obviously has a more natural look. Once I got that down, I braved the calligraphy nib and fell in love all over. Basically, I want you to not be like me – give brush lettering and calligraphy a try.
These Tators Gonna Tate Calligraphy Practice Sheets just make me giggle every time I look at them. I think part of it is that my sister-in-law is from Idaho and my little brother teases her about “Tators” all the time. For the record, I know that there’s more to Idaho than tators. It’s still funny, though!
