Learn how to create these Sparkly HTV Stocking Gift Tags with Expressions Vinyl. These gift tags are SO easy to make, plus they’re reusable!

The biggest reason I love Christmas decorations is because you can add as much bling and sparkle as you want. The more the merrier…which is why I LOOOOVE these Sparkly HTV Stocking Gift Tags made with Expressions Vinyl Holographic Heat Transfer Vinyl.
These gift tags make me way too happy…especially since it took no time to put together. It takes seconds to put these together if you have a Cricut.

I, of course, had to buy glitter wrapping paper to match my Expressions Vinyl Gift Tags…there’s glitter EVERYWHERE, people. I just don’t care. This is the one time of year when it’s okay to leave the sparkly goodness all over the house.
But, who are we kidding? My house is always covered in glitter.

- First, upload the SVG File to Cricut Design Space (see an in depth tutorial HERE).
- Insert the image into your project, then hover your mouse over the lower right corner of the design and resize it to fit on the gift tag (measure the gift tag first to see what size will work).
- With the image still selected, go to the right toolbar in Cricut Design Space and select DUPLICATE. Do this for as many times as you need to.
- When you have enough stockings, click on MAKE IT.
- On the next screen, if you’d like to, MIRROR the image by clicking on the toggle button under your mat image (in the left toolbar on that page).
- Send it to your machine.
- Place your HTV shiny side down on the mat.
- Now, since this isn’t Cricut vinyl, the settings may be a little different. Choose Holographic Vinyl and then TEST CUT. If it doesn’t cut all the way through, try it with more pressure. If it goes through the liner, use less pressure.
- Once you have the correct pressure, send your whole project to the Cricut.
- Weed around the stocking images and cut around them with scissors.
- Heat up the EasyPress 2 to 285 degrees.
- Preheat the gift tags for 5 seconds, then place the Christmas Stocking design on the tag.
- Hold the EasyPress 2 over the gift tag for 30 seconds, then let it cool for 30 seconds.
- Carefully peel off the liner and you’re done!
If the design isn’t sticking properly, place the liner back on and hold the EasyPress over the design for about 15 seconds, then try again.

I love simple touches on presents like the snowflake ribbon and adding a big ol’ pretty bow. Not gonna lie…it took me forever to get that bow just right, but totally worth it.
And these Stocking Gift Tags made with Expressions Vinyl HTV really top this off.
