You guys…it’s FINALLY cold here in Arizona! You know what that means??? I’ll be having my fill of Hot Chocolate while the temp is below 65 degrees. Yes, I wore flip flops today…but I also wore a sweater. That means it’s completely acceptable to cozy up with this Decadent 5 Ingredient Caramel Crunch Hot Chocolate.
Technically, my drink that’s pictured is 6 ingredients…because I had to add whipped cream. It’s optional, but I definitely recommend it! I got the idea for this drink from the new Coffee Creamer flavors from Dunkin’ Donuts and International Delight.
They have so many fun flavors at Target, but I couldn’t resist pairing caramel with dark chocolate. If you download the Cartwheel app for Target, you can get 5% off International Delight Coffee Creamer, Silk Coffee Creamer and Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee Creamer from 12/1/15 – 12/24/2015!
When I lived in Utah, I used to drink the powdered hot chocolate all the time to keep warm. That was before Pinterest and I had no idea I could make my own hot chocolate. This method is so dang easy and it gives you a much richer flavor. This hot chocolate is amazing, people.

I love this time of year. Not just because I have an excuse to drink lovely drinks like this one…but because it is a time of good cheer. My kids and even my husband get really excited for Christmas time so it makes it that much more fun. We plan to drink a lot of this hot chocolate, look at Christmas lights and enjoy each other’s company!
