I am going to Turks and Caicos in October (woohoo!!!) so I’m eating healthy aned working out before my behind is plastered all over social media! They always tell you to eat a lot of protein, but I am SO STINKING TIRED of Grilled Chicken! Plus, I just want some ice cream. This Banana, Coconut and Chocolate Frosty Recipe is easy to make, gives me the protein that I need to stay full AND it gives me my ice cream fix!
There are a couple ways to make this…and you can do whatever is easier for you. First, you’ll blend it all together. Once you do that, you can either freeze it or add it to an ice cream maker. I opted for an ice cream maker because I didn’t want to wait any longer than I had to. Patience is not one of my virtues. You can also eat it right from the blender…which is also delicious (and what I had for breakfast this morning!) It just won’t have the frosty texture.
Banana, Coconut and Chocolate Frosty
- 2 c. fairlife chocolate milk
- 2 bananas
- 2 Tbs. coconut syrup
- Blend all ingredients in a blender on the smoothie setting.
- Next, pour it into a bowl and freeze for a couple hours, or until frozen OR stick in an ice cream maker for about 15 minutes.
- Serve immediately. Feel free to top with extra bananas and coconut!
I can feel such a difference from treating my body better. Getting healthy is a pretty big sacrifice for me because I LOVE sleeping, but the only time I can work out is at 5:30 AM. It was rough getting used to it at first, but now I kind of like doing it. That’s a big kind of…but I just keep thinking of wearing a swimsuit in 3 months (10 months after having a baby) and it’s definitely worth it! I can feel such a difference from treating my body better, too!

Sounds yummy! Try the trick of freezing ripe bananas before adding to the blender. It will give it the thicker frosty texture you want.
Can’t wait to try this!
