Cinnamon Motts Apple Sauce Waffles


  • 1 3/4 c flour
  • 2 Tbs sugar
  • 1 Tbs baking powder
  • 1 Tbs cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • dash of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 c milk
  • 1/2 c Motts Apple Sauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla


  • Mix together dry ingredients in a medium bowl (flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt).
  • In another medium bowl, beat eggs slightly, then stir in milk, applesauce and vanilla.
  • Add egg mixture to the dry mixture and stir until just moistened (it is okay for it to be slightly lumpy-you do not want to over mix waffles!)
  • Pour waffle mixture into a lightly greased and heated waffle iron. Follow your instruction manual for the time and amount of batter needed.
