My daughter has been asking me to have a Tinkerbell party for years. Okay, like 2 years because she’s only 5. Since Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast came out last Tuesday, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to grant her wish. She and her two best friends LOVED this Whimsical Tinker Bell Party and we all had a really great time!
When I start dreaming up a party, I usually focus on the key elements first: What do I want it to feel like? What is the main theme? What colors can depict that theme? What textures should I use? How can I make it unique?
For this party, I wanted it to be Whimsical and I wanted it to feel like a fairy tale garden party. I have been obsessed with green and gold lately and I knew this had to be a green, gold and yellow party). I just had to use all things sparkly because it reminds me of Pixie Dust…sparkly ribbon, glitter place mats, gold gumballs and sprinkles. I especially love the gold banner I made that I hung from my light fixture. I feel like I made it unique by holding the party in my kitchen at my round table in a dinner type setting. Everything for the party was displayed at the table so I kept all the “whimsy” in one place.
I also try to DIY my and reuse and repurpose old items…otherwise it can get expensive planning a party! The tree in the background is actually a Christmas tree that I pinned flowers to. I also created my own printables that you can download for FREE. My favorite part about this party is the flower cupcake (or in this case, cheesecake) toppers. These were so easy to make and they are adorable. They really pulled off my garden party effect!

To make these, you’ll need:
- 2″ fake daisy flowers
- green construction paper
- 1″ round hole punch
- cake pop sticks
- green ribbon
- washi tape
- hot glue gun
- First, cut out green construction paper with a 1″ hole punch.
- Place some hot glue on the green circle.
- Place the flower in the hot glue and hold it there until the glue almost dries.
- Place hot glue on the back of the green dot, then attach the cake pop stick to the back of the flower.
- Tie a small bow with the ribbon, then glue it onto the stick, under the flower.
- If you would like, you can wrap gold washi tape around the stick.
It wouldn’t be a Tinker Bell party without some Tinker gear! I got my daughter the new Tinker Bell movie, Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast and a Tinker Bell Bubble wand. Plus, I got each girl a small Fairy doll (BEST party favor ever…they were so excited!) I got all these at Walmart. These toys and the movie are really popular, so make sure you act fast!
I’m so happy I was able to FINALLY throw this party for my daughter. She and her friends had a blast playing with their new toys, eating food and watching their movie!
This party was actually really easy to put together, which shows you don’t have to throw a huge, elaborate party to make your kids happy!

I absolutely LOVE the light, bright, springy colors of your Tinker Bell and NeverBeast party! It is a simple, yet stunning party and I absolutely LOVE it. The more simple for me, the better. I don’t have time or resources for big, elaborate parties, but this is fab and looks amazing. Great job! #Client

Adorable! Would love to know how you create these. My little one is having this theme next week but is dressing as faun, so she really want things to be faun colors 🙁
