I hate camping with a burning passion. Just imagine me crying in a tent and that pretty much sums up what a camping trip with me is like. My family can tell you that I’m not exaggerating…not even a little bit. The one thing that makes camping somewhat tempting is the food. I absolutely love camping food…especially S’mores! So if I can have S’mores WITHOUT camping…I’m pretty much in heaven. This S’mores Summer Camping Party is yummy, fun, pretty, and most importantly…INDOORS (but you can easily host it outdoors if you’re not a wimp like me).
I wanted to keep the essence of camping for this party, so I used a lot of wood elements and kept the graphics simple. I even cut off branches from my tree, and I ended up breaking out in hives in the process…thus, why I stay inside. Hives aside, it was worth it because the leaves and branches really “made” this party.
You can download my S’mores Printables HERE (and leave a comment letting me know how you like them!)
Of course, it wouldn’t be a S’mores bar without some delicious ingredients. I served Kraft Caramel Bites, Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips, Heath Bar Chips, Hershey Cinnamon Chips, along with Hershey’s Almond and Hazelnut Spreads. There were so many choices and combinations, it was hard to choose a favorite, but I settled on the Cinnamon Roasted Almond S’more.
Ingredients:
- 2 Honey Maid Graham Cracker Squares
- ½ Hershey Chocolate Bar
- 1 Jet Puffed S’moresMallow (or marshmallow)
- 10 Hershey Cinnamon Chips
- 2 tsp. Hershey’s Almond Spread
Directions:
- Lightly toast the marshmallow over a fire, grill or Cast Iron Hibachi set like I have.
- Place chocolate on a graham cracker, then layer cinnamon chips, and marshmallow.
- Spread Almond spread over the other graham cracker square, then place on top of the marshmallow.
- Heat until the chocolate begins to melt, then remove from heat and enjoy!
This was such a simple party, you can have a S’mores party any day of the week (imagine how excited your kids will be…trust me, they’ll be thrilled!) If you’re having a summer get together, this is something really easy to throw together and you don’t need a campfire. Try the grill, microwave or buy a cute little Hibachi set (so fun!)
You can buy the Hershey bars, Jet-Puffed S’moreMallows and Honey Maid Squares at Walmart (the squares are exclusive to Walmart). Look for the S’mores display by the camping gear!
I’m pretty sure this will be a long-running tradition in our house…you know, a once a week tradition. Because Chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers need to be a weekly thing.
I’d love to hear from you now…What is your favorite way to make a S’more?

The way you put those marshmallows on the sticks, so they are all ready, is adorable! Love the whole set up!
