If you’re a Disney fan, you’ll love these Haunted Mansion Halloween Party Ideas! You’ll find everything you need to throw an amazing Halloween party.
Thank you Oriental Trading for providing the decor and Halloween Costume for this post! All opinions are 100% my own.
My mom kept telling me about all the tea parties she was having at her house with my niece and nephew, and I knew it would be fun to collaborate on one with her. She just started her blog The Vintage Kitchen and people are going crazy over her cute decor and yummy tea party recipes. I, of course, wanted to throw a Halloween Tea Party. My favorite ride at Disneyland is The Haunted Mansion (shocker, I know), so it was a no-brainer to combine the two! You’ll love all these Haunted Mansion Halloween Tea Party Ideas!

Tea Party Place Settings
With most parties, I try to collect things from different places a few weeks leading up to the party. However, I also like to work with what I already have. The thing that was most important for this party was obviously the teacups…can’t really have a tea party without them. I happen to be a MAJOR dish hoarder, and this dish set was a wedding present from my grandparents. So, not only is it really special to me, but it looks AMAZING in this Halloween photo shoot!
I paired it all with plastic gold cutlery that looks real, even in person, copper chargers, black placemats, and instead of the dessert place from my china set, I used Sophistiplate Paper Plates. Those were for the kids to eat on…because wedding china and kids do not mix!
All the printables for this party will be coming your way on Wednesday, including those paper flower napkin rings. Oh my goodness, these are cute, right???
Haunted Mansion Tea Party Decor Ideas
Much of the decor came from Oriental Trading, and I LOVE that they have so many options to choose from. If you want to throw a spooky party like this one, they have everything you need. If you want something more on the cutesy side, or kid friendly, they have that covered, too!
I especially love their animated decor. My kids aren’t even phased by the scary decor now because I have animated Halloween items everywhere for like two months. They thought this Haunted Urn was pretty cool! It really reminds me of the Haunted Mansion!
Much of the other decor were items I already had, which always makes things easy.
I think my favorite touch was my life-size skeleton and her Zombie Costume. We named her Ethel…she even had a nametag. Ethel sat at my kitchen table for about 3 weeks, so she’s a regular in the Williams Home. My kids loved the costume when I tried it on, so this year we’re all going to be zombies this year! I’m getting my daughter this matching costume…I love that it’s vintage looking.
Halloween Printables and Wall Decor
A great way to personalize a tea party is to create your own name tags with the Cricut. I used my FREE Haunted Mansion SVG Files and also check out my Spiderweb Banner SVG File (it’s free, too).
You may also like the Holograph Portraits for your Halloween Party Decor (or Halloween decor in general…I tried to convince my husband to leave them up for the rest of the month, but that’s where he drew the line).
When I was thinking up ideas for the party, I knew I wanted a wall with ravens on it. However, I forgot about that idea until the day before the party. I knew there was no way I would have time to create my own, so I bought this Raven bundle from Creative Market, and uploaded the images as PNG Files to Cricut Design Space, then cut them out with my Maker onto Black Vinyl. It was so much faster than designing my own and I think these are beautiful!
Halloween Tea Party Food Ideas
My mom is the genius behind the food for this party. She used to be a caterer and when she quit, she started her own blog, The Vintage Kitchen. Her tea party posts are always a fan favorite, and it’s because the food is amazing! Those S’mores scones are magical and they look beautiful, too!
The recipe will be on her blog this week, so make sure you sign up for her email list to get notified. For now, check out the Lemony Cucumber Sandwiches we had for this party. Also check out her posts so you can learn more about Tea Party Etiquette and planning tips.
Make sure you check out the FREE SVG Files and more party details! If you liked this, check out these other Halloween Party posts:

Oh my goodness! I absolutely love the Haunted Mansion, although I’ve yet to do the Disneyland version. I took my other half to Orlando for the first time in April and he ADORES the mansion and even has the book on it!
Last year for Halloween I carved one of the hitchhiking ghosts, this year I’m going for the whole set.
Love the details of this party – especially the holographic portraits and the way you’ve incorporated some of the quotes in.
S’mores scones sound delicious, I’ll be sure to stop by your mum’s blog as I love everything about a tea party. 🙂
