These are the cutest little Bunny Tail Cakes with the lightest, most fluffy frosting! You can be a novice cake decorator (like me) and still make some pretty cute cakes!
I don’t know if you can tell…but I am not a professional cake decorator. I know…you must be SHOCKED! Okay, maybe you’re not…but these bunny tails are pretty darn cute even though I have ZERO training. My point is that anyone can make these. You just need the right tools.
First off…this Buttercream frosting…OH MY GOSH!
I got a pack of Wilton Treatology Flavor System at a conference I went to this year and they are SO fun! I always have an issue with flavoring frosting because the flavoring changes the consistency, so I usually just have plain buttercream. This buttercream recipe is delicious on it’s own, but with a touch of peach flavor??? It’s AMAZING!
Dreamy Peach Buttercream Frosting
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Unsalted Butter
- 3/4 c. Crisco
- 1 Tbs. whipping Cream or Whole Milk
- 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar

- 1 drop Wilton Creamy Vanilla Custard Flavoring
Instructions
- Cream together butter and Crisco in a mixer until combined (about 2 minutes).
- Add in powdered sugar, a little at a time.
- Add whipping cream and flavorings.
- Whip mixture for about 4 minutes on high.

Didn’t I tell you it was easy? I would love to learn how to make more complex baked goods, but until I find the time, these cute little bunny tail cakes will just have to do.
How about you? Would you consider yourself a novice or expert cake decorator?
