Hi friends! I’m Kristen Duke, and I share the ideas in my head over at Capturing Joy. If you need photo tips, want to see my favorite family recipes, travel adventures, or check out our home tour, I’d love to have you!
Today, I’m going to share something I’m very passionate about, and that is Decorating with Pictures! I run a series each February, where I have contributors share how they display photos in their homes, I wanted to share a few examples of how I have incorporated decorating my home with our family pictures.
One of my most favorites is where I turned a Vintage Window into a giant Picture Frame. I didn’t invent the concept, but I loved how it was a way to add a little whimsy to my decoration, and be able to include a LOT of pictures from our family photo session on the beach.
Another favorite is a giant Repurposed Frame in my office, with a picture of my kids, looking right at me as I type on my computer. Reminding me what is most important.
Lastly, I got crafty and made my own canvas art by adhering my prints to the canvas’ I found at my local craft store.
To see how I put any of these together, clinks on the links to learn more. If you’d like to see 100’s of other ideas on how to decorate your home with pictures, head on over to my site, or check out my home tour. You can also follow along on Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest!

These are great ideas. I love the giant frame. Especially with the yellow!
