This adorable FREE Santa Letter Printable Set includes a tri-fold letter, envelope, and envelope liner cut files! It is such a fun Christmas keepsake!
Every year, my kids look forward to writing their letter to Santa. I have a few variations, but this one is BY FAR my favorite! I created these envelopes and liners using my Cricut Explore Air, and I think they’re just the CUTEST! I mentioned in my post yesterday that printables can not be larger than 8″X5″, but I found a way to get around that for these envelopes…and it’s ridiculously easy!
To make these Santa Letter Printable Envelopes and Liners, you’ll need:
- FREE Printables, for personal use only
- White Card Stock
- Plain White Paper
- Cricut Explore Air
- Light Grip Cutting Mat
- Hot Glue
- Glue Stick
- Score Board
- Print off the first page of the printable set onto heavy card stock.
- Next, place the page on the light grip mat. Make sure you line it up as straight as possible, so the graphic appears in the center of the envelope.
- Open up design space and follow THESE instructions to upload the SVG file for the envelopes.
- Cricut Design Space will automatically align the envelope, so you don’t have to. Simply place it on the page, then click on GO.
- Press the LOAD button on the Cricut and when the “C” starts flashing, click on that.
- Once it’s cut out, make a score line along the flaps, then fold in the flaps.
- Next, print out the Liners, also using THESE instructions on plain white paper.
- Score along the flap, then fold it inward.
- Using a glue stick, glue the liner to the inside of the envelope.
- Fold the side flaps in and place hot glue on the front and fold the bottom flap inward.
- For the letter, print it on regular paper or card stock, then cut it and fold along the lines.
So, if you create your own printables, and you want the cut size to be larger than the allowed amount, simply align your image where the file will cut. If you are not doing print and cut, Cricut will space everything out automatically, and it will start at the top left 1/4″ from the top and left side. You want to make your image align the same way.
Because there was more room for error on my part, I made this graphic very simple. I’m human, so it was unlikely I would align my image exactly where it needed to be. Since I don’t have any lines on the envelope, it looks perfectly centered!
