These FREE Queen of Hearts Party Printables are so pretty! You’ll love all the details of this little party!
If you read my blog, Strawberry Mommycakes, you may have seen this party already. I mentioned that I designed these printables a couple of years ago. I always look at my old pictures and think how they could be improved (it was before I had a DSLR), so I’m really glad I waited to throw this party so I could do these printables some justice!
I never was a fan of Alice in Wonderland, until I grew up and realized that the art in that movie is freaking AWESOME! It’s so fun and whimsical, yet modern…it’s great. If you haven’t seen Disney’s version in a while, watch it.
I wanted my Queen of Hearts Party Printables to be clean and modern, but I think the flowers and graphics give it a fun touch. I love this cute little crown for a cupcake topper!
When I’m designing printables, I always think of the mood I want to set for the party…there’s always an “end game” with me, and I pictured this as being a garden party. I think these printables pulled it off…and the other fun elements didn’t hurt either.
Do you want to create parties like this? Let’s try a little exercise:
- If you were going to throw a Valentine’s Day party, what theme would you pick?
- What style would you want the party to be?
- What elements would you like to use to pull off your “look”?
I’m at the point now, where most of my parties share the same style…but when you’re first starting out, it takes some time to develop your signature look. Try to keep things cohesive and you’ll pull off a great party!
Stay tuned for some party hacks! I’ll be sharing those on Wednesday!!
I created the flowers, mask, crown topper and lips using my Silhouette Cameo. For the Silhouette Files, Click HERE (unzip the file before you open it in the Silhouette Design Studio).
And, if you are in the Phoenix area, I’ve teamed up with two of my favorite bloggers to bring you The Crush Hand-Lettering Workshop! Tickets are selling fast, so get yours today!
