You probably never expected to hear Chic and Eggo Waffles in the same sentence…but I’m here to tell you that chic doesn’t have to be hard. In fact, chic should be simple, yet elegant. It can also be fun and colorful. That’s exactly what this Chic Eggo Waffle Bar is…simple, elegant and oh my goodness is it tasty!
I always eat my Eggo waffle with vanilla yogurt, fruit and granola. This is my favorite way to eat a waffle and my kids love it, too. I pile on the toppings because they’re good for me! I had so many options of fruit, jams, yogurt and granola.
One of my favorite things is to mix tropical fruit with berries, so I provided pineapple, mangos and bananas mixed with raspberries, strawberries and blueberries. I also had apples for good measure (the texture on a waffle is soooo yummy!).
The decor was so easy! I normally create printables from scratch, but I really wanted to incorporate some of my artwork from SMC Art. I printed out one of my designs and cut it out into scalloped circles with my 3″ hole punch, then attached the 2″ round label and a gold flag with a small clothespin. I LOVE the way they turned out! I also printed out a full page and wrapped it around the jam jars and a book to add a little more height and dimension to the table. You’ll also notice I have a matching vase in the background that I made at a pottery painting place. The We Love Food sign will be available in the shop soon 🙂
Even though I don’t sell my art prints in digital format, you can still create a similar look by using your favorite scrapbook paper and printing out my black and white labels!

I wanted this waffle bar to be beautiful, but I also didn’t want to spend any money on decor. Everything I have here was already in my dish collection. I pulled pieces that matched the theme and I love that it gave it an eclectic look! Also, I’ve always thought my toaster was great, but doesn’t it look fabulous on this table? It’s super convenient, too…people can just toast, then add their favorite toppings!
You can find many varieties of Eggo Waffles in the freezer section at Walmart. I got whole wheat and blueberry. I love the whole wheat and my kids really enjoyed the blueberry. Both paired great with all these toppings!

What toppings would you add to your waffle bar?

What an awesome breakfast lineup! I’m not waiting until the weekend for this one…it’s breakfast for dinner in our house tonight! I would head straight for the blueberries and granola for my waffle. Yum! #client
